Search For The Needle: Needle Locations & Spawn Status

Everything officially known about where the Needle can be — and the honest boundary between “confirmed” and “community claim” — fits on one page.

The official places

Place Role Place ID
Chapter 1 (FARMHOUSE) The hay-pile Needle hunt 108628039999641
Chapter 2 (BASEMENT) Key-and-escape chapter 83445806734780
Root experience Lobby / entry point 77108422251420

All three live in the same universe (10756011174), which is why progress, currency, and badges carry between them.

Where is the Needle in FARMHOUSE?

The Needle exists as a world object inside the hay volume — a thin silver shaft with an eye, same scale as a straw. That means it can be seen, not just proc’d. It also means there is no confirmed fixed spawn: Garage Games publishes no spawn formula, and no community data set is large enough to prove one. Any site listing “the” spawn point is overclaiming from a single run.

What actually works is volume clearing with a pattern — the search guide covers the layer-by-layer method.

Where is the UFO?

The Find the UFO badge proves a UFO exists in the experience, and ~3.8 million players have earned it — so it is findable, not cut content. But Roblox publishes no route, and no creator-confirmed walkthrough exists in the public record. Community sightings put UFO content around the FARMHOUSE environment rather than the Basement. Details and verification status are in the UFO badge guide.

Do locations change between updates?

The chapter places are stable identifiers — they have not changed since launch. What does shift with updates is everything around them: event decorations (the Alien event, Index + Pets), shop placement, and possibly interactables. If a screenshot from August looks different from your game, that is the update cadence, not a different spawn system.
